Tickets go on sale January 30th for this year’s Silent Auction and Dinner Event! February 23, 2019 6PM-10PM, Arvada Elks Lodge in Olde Town!

Take pictures in the Van Arsdale Harvest Festival Parade award winning Yellow Submarine and Photo Booth, enjoy a catered multi-course buffet, and sing/dance the night away (with time for Silent Auction bidding of course)! Come and Support OUR school! Tickets purchased by February 15th get entered into a raffle for one of two prizes!  This is an ADULT ONLY EVENT.

When: Saturday, February 23rd from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

We’re excited to announce the Holiday Gift Shop, starting November 27th to November 30th!
We will be open in the mornings at 8, over lunch for your children to come shop without you, and from 3-4 in the afternoon on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday! We will be open at 8 AM on Friday morning for any last minute purchases! Look for more information and shopping envelopes to come home this Friday!
Send checks or cash on your students envelope and we will make sure they come home with any change they have left over! For example, if you send a $20 check, we will give them change in cash, so no need to do the math ahead of time!

I have great, wonderful, amazing children; whom I want to be happy and healthy and, unfortunately, they didn’t come with a manual or upper division class. So, I am taking the day off from work and attending this conference. I want to know what the people who have studied children and parenting have to say. I hope you will join me.

First of all, thank you, Elise Waln, for partnering with Van Arsdale to host our first annual Walk to School Day. This was part of the safe routes to school initiative that established this partnership. Although we postponed d/t weather, the event was a great success. Kids participated by walking with pride and were greeted with happy celebrating faces as they arrived at school. Supporting kiddos in their healthy lifestyles is critical to their life long healthy habits.

Thank you for all of the volunteers and support for this year’s carnival. We couldn’t have done it without all of the people who helped. A special thanks to Dina Hildebran, Jean Capurro, Michellle Lucero, the PTSA board, the set up and clean up crew, specifically Pack 475, Mrs. Chapla, Miss Laura, Miss Suzette, Mr. Carpenter, Mr. Chandler, the dunk tank volunteers, the maintenance staff, and all of the parents, students, and staff who helped make this carnival possible. There were so many people involved and we appreciate everything that you do. We were happy this community/school event was a great success. Thank you to everyone for promoting and attending this annual event.

We are looking for volunteers for:
Set up: 12pm-3:30pm
Stations including:(tickets, photobooth, glitter tattoos, bounce house, dunk tank, pony rides, hairspray, toy walk, carnival games, food, and more)
Clean up: 7-8pm

Volunteers will receive a ticket good for one slice of pizza and a drink during the carnival.

We will have a volunteer check in available in front of the cafeteria with directions and station assignments.

Van Arsdale PTSA is proud to present the 2018 Annual Van Arsdale Carnival

Join us for games, games and more games as well as balloon art, glitter tattoos,  photo booth,  dunk tank,  toy walk, pony rides,  obstacle course, inflatable slide, pizza, popcorn, cotton candy, live music and much more!

Wristbands are good for 1 Pony Ride and 1 Balloon, plus UNLIMITED Carnival Games, Inflatables, Toy Walk, Glitter Hairspray, Photo Booth, Glitter Tattoos, and Dunk Tank!    $20 the day of event.

Tickets are $1 each and can be used for food items.  Water, Popcorn, Soda and Cotton Candy are 1 Ticket.  Pizza and Sno-Cones are 2 Tickets.

Help Van Arsdale and Help Others!
If you haven’t been able to participate in the Fall Fundraiser, you can still help Van Arsdale with this effort and also help others!

You can directly donate money towards the purchase of a box, or purchase a complete box, of Cookies and Candy which will be given to local First Responders, to Meals On Wheels, the Arvada Food Bank, or other charities which would appreciate the surprise and sweet treat. Items will be delivered to various organizations before the Thanksgiving holiday.

You can take your donations to the tables that will be set up every day until September 28th before school and after school, to the office, or to the table that will be set up at the Carnival and let us know you are wanting to donate to “Help Van Arsdale and Help Others”!
